Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Client Relations/Customer Service
Account Executive, Client Services - Denver Sports Properties (Denver, CO)
Denver Sports Properties, the exclusive marketing and multi-media rights partner of University of Denver and a division of OUTFRONT Media Sports, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Account Executive, Client Services in Denver, Colorado. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Report directly to the General Manager, Denver Sports Properties. ? Assist with the fulfillment of all corporate sponsorship partner agreements ? Develop and nurture relationships between corporate partners and Denver Sports Properties. ? Maintain client database and inventory spreadsheets ? Assist with the creation, planning and implementation of Denver Sports Properties special events and hospitality (i.e. hospitality, sponsor trips, golf events etc.). ? Establish a strong working relationship with the University of Denver Athletic Department staff, specifically marketing and promotions ? Assist with local print sales and help generate sponsorship revenue for Denver Sports Properties. ? Be available at all Game Day, evening athletic events and coach’s radio shows. ? Assist GM with office administrative tasks (i.e. mailings, overnights, organize meetings & office calendar) ? Responsible for creation, planning, and implementation of sponsor promotions, including coordination of in-game promotions with Denver Athletics Marketing and Promotion Department. ? Assist in collecting advertisements from partners and distribution of such to radio flagship station, television production personnel and print partner. ? Assist in bidding, securing and maintaining relationships with vendors (i.e. tent, catering, and signage companies) ? Entertain and cultivate sponsors in various settings. ? Represent OUTFRONT Media Sports, Denver Sports Properties and the University of Denver in a professional manner. ? Assist with day-to-day tasks necessary to insure the overall success of Denver Sports Properties. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ? BA or BS degree required ? Sales/Marketing support experience in sport sponsorship or entertainment fields preferred. ? The ideal candidate will be organized / pay attention to detail, motivated, and possess an outstanding work ethic. ? Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with Denver Sports Properties staff, clients and the University. ? Must be proficient with Word, Excel and Power point ? Must show proof of automobile insurance with $100,000/$300,000 policy limits. ? Must successfully pass a background check. Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and execute sales plan to meet or exceed Denver Sports Properties annual revenue objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to meet and/or exceed Denver Sports Properties annual revenue goals.
  • Identify potential sponsors for Denver Sports Properties.
  • Prospect, develop and close new business.
  • Contract, fulfillment and presentation development.
  • Assist in multi-media production and operations.
  • Develop key marketing objectives with clients.
  • Assist with client contract fulfillment, execution and review.
  • Entertain and cultivate sponsors in various settings.
  • Be available for game days, evening athletic events and coach’s shows.

  • Be available to travel for client presentations.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and reports as required.
  • Represent OUTFRONT Media Sports, Denver Sports Properties. and University of Denver in a professional manner.
  • Report directly to General Manager of Denver Sports Properties.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supports and exhibits behavior consistent with the sales and service philosophy of OUTFRONT Media Sports.  
  • Acts with diplomacy as a representative of OUTFRONT Media Sports and Denver University.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA or BS degree required.
  • One (1) to two (2) years demonstrated sales experience; sports sponsorship or entertainment fields preferred.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends around sporting events.
  • Knowledge of Denver marketplace a plus.
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives.
  • Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
